Transporting your cake

When collecting your cake please ensure that you transport the cake in either the foot-well or boot space. It is recommended that you ensure this area is clean and clear before you arrive to collect your cake.

Please be aware that placing your cake on a seat, lap or uneven surface even for a small journey may effect the stability and internal structure of the cake which could result in irreparable damage.

On hot days it is recommended to travel with the air conditioning on or windows open to keep the environment relatively cool so that the cake does not get too warm.

It is recommended that the cake is taken directly to the venue from when you collect it as any lengthy time in a vehicle may cause damage to the cake. If you take it home before taking it to the venue please ensure it is kept in a cool dark place away from direct sunlight and stored in the packaging provided. Further transport to the venue from your home should be made using the guidelines above.

When setting up your cake at the venue please make sure it is not placed in direct sunlight and is consumed within the time suggested on your packaging.

Once the cake has left the premises, we are no longer liable for any damage that may occur. If any repairs are required at any point after the cake has left the premises and only if a repair is possible and there is availability for us to fix it, it will be at the cost suggested at the managers discretion. This will need to be paid on return of the damaged cake before the repairs can commence. We can not promise to fix any damage to cakes but we will try our best to help you, should any accidents happen!

If the guidelines above are followed you should have no problems delivering your cake in perfect condition to your venue.

Enjoy your cake !
